If Hewitt can't perform early, it will be a "Baptism by fire" situation for our Freshman pitchers. No creampuffs are scheduled at the start of this season. Personally, I love matchups with the best teams, all the time. However, a lot can be said for easing freshman into the mix, esp. pitchers.
